FSLR Investors Have Opportunity to Lead First Solar, Inc. Securities Fraud Lawsuit
The suit says First Solar understated tariff risks and facility underuse, after analysts downgraded the stock and shares fell 10.29% and 13.61%.
On June 24, 2026, Robbins LLP filed a class action lawsuit against First Solar, Inc. on behalf of investors who purchased securities between February 26, 2025, and February 24, 2026.
The complaint alleges First Solar overstated its capacity to manage U.S. tariff policy while understating negative impacts from underutilizing production facilities in Malaysia and Vietnam.
Jefferies downgraded First Solar to Hold, noting that " facilities remain a pain point while tariffs exist," while Baird Research downgraded to Neutral citing "several question marks in forward outlook."
First Solar stock fell 10.29% to $241.11 per share on January 7, 2026, and dropped another 13.61% to $210.12 on February 25, 2026, after missing earnings expectations.
The company faces ongoing headwinds, including permitting delays under the Trump administration, which negatively impacted lower-than-expected 2026 revenue guidance and projected fiscal performance.
