For years, open real estate funds were sold as a solid fixed-rate replacement. Now, for the first time, a large fund house limits the disbursements to investors willing to exit.
For the time being, investors in "Landbesitz Europa" have only limited access to their money. The Deutsche Bank subsidiary limits the payout rate for due redemption orders to ten percent.
For twelve months, the DWS is allowed to limit its withdrawals in the case of real estate Europe, as provided for by the law. The fund is one of the three open real estate funds that have come under pressure after the turnaround in interest rates.
The Deutsche Bank fund subsidiary can only pay out ten percent of the requested amounts to investors of its largest real estate fund. If you want more money, you have to cancel again.
