Investigators: Timed explosives used in Nord Stream pipeline sabotage
German investigators believe at least four timed underwater charges were used to destroy the Nord Stream pipelines in September 2022. According to official documents seen by Swedish broadcaster SVT and Denmark’s DR, the charges were installed by a team of divers operating from the yacht Andromeda in the Baltic Sea. The divers, part of a six-member group, attached explosives to the gas pipelines at a depth of 70 to 80 metres.
