On the run since January, a man was executed at the end of June in Sochaux in the parking lot of a commercial area.
The deceased man was sentenced on 16 January by the Besançon Court of Appeal to eight years in prison for the acquisition of war material and extortion.
The prosecutor of the Republic of Montbéliard said on Friday 4 July that the man shot dead on Friday 27 June had been wanted since the beginning of the year. He had just been sentenced to eight years in prison. Judicial information had been opened for murder and criminal association.
