Côte d'Ivoire and Mali are taking a major step forward in clarifying their common border. Meeting in Bamako from 21 to 25 August 2026, the experts of the two countries adopted, by mutual agreement, the final delimitation of the border and the preliminary draft Delimitation Treaty, a step forward which should help to secure border areas and strengthen their development for the benefit of the people.
