- Each Hollywood A-lister at the Governors Ball receives a dark chocolate mini Oscar statuette, and Oscar nominees get an Everyone Wins gift bag valued at about $350,000.
- Puck times kitchen service to award announcements, saying 'Let’s get everything ready, let’s get the Chicken Pot Pie in the oven' when Best Director is presented, and 'You know, most of the people did not eat all day long. So when they come out, everybody is famished, you know?' said Puck.
