Death of an inmate from Bath Institution – Regional Treatment Centre
Correctional Service Canada is reporting the death of an inmate in the custody of Bath Institution’s Regional Treatment Centre. Marcelo Aravena died of apparent natural causes on Sunday. Inmate dies at Bath Prison
Correctional Service Canada has announced that an inmate has died while in custody at Bath Prison. Marcelo Aravena died of apparent natural causes Sunday at the age of 50. Aravena had been serving a life sentence and had been behind bars since 2009. Correction Service Canada added that in line with their policies, a review around the circumstances of the death will be conducted and the corner will been notified.
