In its study published on 14 August, the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies points to an increase in inflation, which is greater over one year than in the past month.
Over 12 months, this increase is due to slight accelerations in service and food prices, offset by a sharper fall in energy prices.

(Reuters) -Consumer price inflation in France was stable in July and met analysts’ expectations and the preliminary reading, statistics office INSEE said on Thursday. Consumer prices in France rose by 0.2% month-on-month and 1.0% year-on-year in July, INSEE confirmed on Thursday when it published the final results.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.2% in July 2025, after rising 0.4% in June.
