Authorities say the driver, identified as a 21-year-old woman from the City of Shasta Lake sustained minor injuries in the crash. A 19-year-old male passenger from the City of Shasta Lake sustained moderate injuries in the accident.

Search efforts continue this afternoon for an infant missing after an accident near Big Flat that happened early Thursday morning, May 1. According to a California Highway Patrol press release, at 1:35 a.m. a single vehicle accident occurred on Highway 299, two miles east of Big Flat.
