PAN spokesperson Inês de Sousa Real was re-elected party spokesperson for another three years on Saturday, winning more than 70 percent of the votes for the National Political Committee.
Sousa Real's list had 97 votes.

Inês de Sousa Real was re-elected as PAN spokesperson this Saturday after her candidacy for the National Political Committee won 72% of the votes in the party's 9th Congress. However, in a two-way race, his opponent and former congressman Nelson Silva also won seats in that body.
The list of the current PAN leader included 97 votes from the 133 delegates who participated in the vote.
The sole female deputy has been the leader of the PAN since June 2021, when she was the only candidate for the seat in Congress that took place in Tomar. The current leader succeeded André Silva, the first deputy that the party had in the Assembly of the Republic
