On Friday morning, 29 May, the Statec announced the launch of a new indexation band. Wages, pensions and salaries will automatically increase by 2.5% on 1 June, after a recent acceleration of inflation, driven notably by the rise in energy prices.

The Statistical Office announces the triggering of a new index tranche. In the coming month, all salaries, pensions and some social benefits will increase.
