UAE giant to develop gigantic Suez Canal Zone in 50-year deal - Egypt Independent
- On May 4, 2025, Abu Dhabi Ports Group and Egypt's Suez Canal Economic Zone entered into a 50-year agreement to establish a 20-square-kilometer industrial and logistics park located to the east of the city of Port Said.

- Named Kizad East Port Said, the project will start with a 2.8-square-kilometer first phase including a 1.5-kilometer quay, aiming to enhance manufacturing, trade, and logistics between East and West.
- AD Ports pledged $120 million for initial development and feasibility studies, while the project will pay 15 percent of internal revenue as usufruct fees to Egypt and offer tax incentives to investors.
