Inflation in the euro zone fell to 2.4 percent in November, the lowest level since July 2021, reports the European statistical service Eurostat, in a first rapid estimate of the increasing lifespan last month. In October, annual inflation was still 2.9 percent. Inflation declined more than economists had expected. They expected a cooling of up to 2.7 percent.
