Cinemas Guzzo closes 2 more locations amid financial troubles

Cinemas Guzzo is closing another one of its locations in Quebec amid its ongoing financial troubles.

Financial difficulties blamed for closure of 2 Guzzo cinema locations

Moviegoers will no longer be able to visit Guzzo cinemas in Marché Central in Montreal's Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough and in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que.

The liquidation of Guzzo is beginning to take place. As of today, the group is closing two of its 10 cinemas: its “emblematic” cinema in the Central Market, which has 18 theaters, as well as that in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
