In Žemeji Šančiai, Kaunas, excavators were digging up the turf and intensively building a street. Although the community did not want a street here and protested for 7 years, the authorities got their way. Residents even organized a rally, hoping to meet officials, but unfortunately, they did not show up. More about this in the TV3 news report. They shared a picture of what the Šančiai residents saw from their windows immediately after Easter.
