In Eastern Congo, M23 and the Government Are Also Waging Their Battle at the Universities. ‘We Students Are Not a Party to This conflict.’

The power struggle between the Congolese government and the M23 militia has reached the universities. Kinshasa suspended academic activities at eleven institutions in Goma and Bukavu. The students are bearing the consequences. "All our work, the exams, and other efforts threaten to have been in vain."
