In Costa Rica, the ICE Operates Seven Solar Plants for 170 MW in Puntarenas with an Investment of 200 Million Dollars - Pv Magazine Latin America

The facilities will be located in Montes de Oro, Parrita, Garabito and Cóbano and are scheduled to enter into operation in 2028. Six will be developed by private companies and will add 90 MW, while the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE) will build Las Delicias, 80 MW. Together they will produce about 347 GWh per year.
