Borealis will invest €49 million on its Burghausen (Germany) site, to accelerate the industrialisation of its exclusive technology for the production of improved polypropylene, called Borstar Nextation PP. The Austrian petrochemicalist states that its process will produce high-performance (and therefore more recyclable) monomaterial solutions for sectors such as packaging, automotive and health.
