NITRA - Slovakia needs to strengthen its food self-sufficiency and at the same time systematically prepare for the consequences of drought, which poses an increasingly serious threat to domestic agriculture. This was stated by Slovak President Peter Pellegrini on Wednesday at the opening ceremony of the 51st international agricultural and food exhibition Agrokomplex 2026 in Nitra.
