Due to global trade wars and policy uncertainties, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) lowered its growth expectations for the world to 2.8 percent in 2025 and 3 percent in 2026. Although the IMF lowered its global economic growth expectations, it revised its expectations for Turkey upwards from 2.6 to 2.7.
