Following the announcement by the leader of the New Party, Özgür Özel, İmamoğlu stated, "I will not stop and I will not surrender."
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has ordered the seizure of all printed and forthcoming copies of Ekrem İmamoğlu's book titled "The Nation Is My Witness," and prohibited its distribution and sale.
Imamoğlu's book, which contains his defense in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality case, was seized while still in the printing stage. Imamoğlu reacted to the decision in a social media post, saying, "I will not be discouraged! I will not be silenced! I will not stop and I will not surrender!"
