Illa Calls for the EU to Count on 'Industrial Regions' Like Catalonia to Gain Competitiveness

The president of the Generalitat, Salvador Illa, has demanded that the European Union count on "industrial regions" like Catalonia when implementing its industrial policy. "Europe will not achieve competitiveness and strategic autonomy without its industrial regions", he said this Wednesday during his speech at the plenary session of the European Committee of the Regions.Continue reading....
