At the hours of the university strike called for this Wednesday, the national government assured that it fulfilled the obligations corresponding to the university system and defended the transfers made in terms of salaries, operating expenses and funds for university hospitals. The unions, however, ratified the measure of force and announced new days of strike during August in demand for the application of the Law of University Financing.
