The Etna in Sicily is back. Due to an eruption cloud estimated to be about four kilometres high, the airport of the Sicilian city of Catania remained closed early on Tuesday. Landings and take-offs are exposed until 22.00 hrs, the operating company of the airport announced. The observation center for the Etna issued a red warning for air traffic. This is the highest level on the four-stage warning scale.
