IDV, a company of the Leonardo group, announced that its American subsidiary, IDV USA, was chosen as one of the four industrial participants of the US Army's Engineer Autonomous Breaking Capability (EABC) initiative. The program seeks to develop systems capable of opening passages through complex obstacles and minefields, including under enemy observation and fire, reducing the exposure of the military.
