IDF says over 70 Hezbollah sites hit as troops advance near south Lebanon’s Nabatieh
The military said dozens of infrastructure sites were dismantled and seven operatives were killed from an underground route used to store ammunition and supplies.
On Saturday, the Israel Defense Forces struck more than 70 Hezbollah infrastructure sites in Southern Lebanon, targeting weapon launchers and structures used to advance attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers.
During Operation Roaring Lion, soldiers cleared an underground tunnel network beneath Beaufort Ridge, identifying and eliminating militants using the stronghold to prepare attacks against the State of Israel.
The IDF reported eliminating more than 10 Hezbollah field commanders, including leaders of the Nasser, Shaqif, Bint Jbeil, Tyre, Hajir, Jibshit, al-Khiam, and Qana sectors.
Hezbollah responded to what it called 'repeated Israeli ceasefire violations' by launching swarm drones near Kfartebnit, while the military intercepted hostile aerial targets over the Galilee Panhandle.
Since the war began, more than 1,300 Hezbollah operatives have been killed, while the Lebanese Health Ministry reports over 3,711 dead and 11,483 wounded across Lebanon.
