With the decision published in the Official Gazette, the identity verification limit in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing has been increased to 370,000 Turkish Lira, and the transfer thresholds to 30,000 Turkish Lira. The regulation also eased the requirement for financial institutions to obtain a physical signature sample during SMS verifications conducted via mobile channels.
