Harmful algal blooms reported at Juanita Lake
The North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality (NDDEQ) has received a report of a Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB) on Juanita Lake in Foster County. A water sample taken on site indicated toxin levels are above the reporting limit. As a result, the NDDEQ issued a Harmful Algal Bloom Advisory at Juanita Lake effective August 5. A similar advisory is also in effect for Lake Coe in Eddy County....
