Manchester Synagogue Terror Attack Sees North Wales Police Escalate Patrols
Two men died and three others were seriously injured when an attacker tried to enter a synagogue during Yom Kippur services, police said the incident is being treated as terrorism.
- On Thursday, October 2, 2025, 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie attempted to ram and stab at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, Crumpsall, and was shot dead by armed police.
