MATTHEWS, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A single lane closure remains after a gas leak early Tuesday morning. The westbound lane of East John Street is now back open heading towards Charlotte after a gas leak shut down the road at the Interstate 485 bridge.
