- On Nov. 20, 2025, Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the IONIQ 6 N at AutoMobility LA in Los Angeles, and Hyundai said it will be sold in limited quantities in the U.S. next year.
- As part of a strategic effort, Hyundai N aimed to advance high-performance electrification and showcase its EV performance intent, said Jos Muñoz, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company.
- With advanced engineering, Hyundai equipped the IONIQ 6 N with up to 601 hp, 641 hp with N Grin Boost, and a 400V→800V charging system for roughly 18-minute fast charging.
- Hyundai calls the IONIQ 6 N a halo model and positions it as a showcase rather than a volume seller, with engineers urged to build it despite limited U.S. market demand.
- Beyond the car itself, Hyundai will offer N Performance Parts with the IONIQ 6 N while independent ultra-fast charging providers' availability is not guaranteed and Hyundai's U.S. footprint totals $20.1 billion and 190,000 jobs.
