Delta, Hyatt to Team up in New Airline-Hotel Loyalty Partnership
Delta and Hyatt will let eligible elite members earn both hotel points and airline miles on qualifying travel as the companies expand their loyalty tie-up.
- American AAdvantage and World of Hyatt will end their "enhanced" partnership at the end of the current program year, following a decision the companies reached after "careful consideration."
- The two programs significantly scaled back their relationship in early 2025, eliminating automatic reciprocal points earning and limiting remaining perks to Loyalty Point Rewards and Milestone Rewards redemption.
- Members who link accounts by November 15, 2026, can continue earning awards through February 28, 2027, for American members and December 31, 2026, for Hyatt members, with no interruption to benefits.
- In the coming months, Delta and Hyatt will launch a new loyalty collaboration offering dual-earning potential, with Delta CEO Ed Bastian and Hyatt CEO Mark Hoplamazian promising "memorable experiences" throughout travel.
