Hunters must pay for violating rules

Three Ontario hunters fined for violating moose hunting rules and impaired hunting, including a $5,000 fine and a one-year hunting ban, court records show.

A southwestern Ontario man has been fined $5,000 for shooting a bull moose north of Marathon last year while he was more than 11 kilometres away from a fellow hunter who possessed a game-seal tag.
