In Spain, the number of cybercrimes increased by 22.7% in 2022 compared to the previous year, reaching a record figure of almost 375,000 computer crimes, according to the report on Cybercrime in Spain published recently by the Ministry of the Interior. Of the total, 89.7% were scams, while 4.3% were related to threats and coercion.
