When the teams stepped onto the deck of the Nassau County Aquatic Center on Sunday morning before the GCHSAA “A” Championship meet, the outcome was anything but a foregone conclusion. Archbishop Molloy was undefeated and Xaverian was the two-time defending champ while Notre Dame and St. Joseph Hill were peaking at just the right time. Truly, the title was there for any of the four schools to grab.
