In July, homebuyers paid on average nearly 4 percent more for an existing home than in the same period a year ago. The rise in house prices is lower than in previous years, but in July there was a slight increase. On average, 500,988 euros was paid for an existing owner-occupied home.
Existing owner-occupied homes were on average 3.9 percent more expensive in July than a year earlier. In June, the increase was still 4.1 percent. Since the end of 2024, house prices have continued to rise, but at a slower pace than before. Compared to June 2026, prices rose by 0.5 percent.
