Horror as Baby Boy Found Dead in Bin
Police say the infant’s mother should seek urgent medical care as detectives investigate the death and ask witnesses for dashcam or phone footage.
On Monday, New South Wales Police discovered a newborn boy's body in a garbage bin on Harrow Road in Auburn, approximately 20 kilometres south-west of Sydney, after emergency services responded at 11.20am.
Officers from the Auburn Police Area Command established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the boy's death following the discovery.
Police hold "serious concerns for the welfare of the baby's mother," urging her to attend a hospital to "receive urgent care for herself" as investigators continue their inquiry.
