A study by Unicancer and the Curie Institute asked about the use of chemotherapy for women with hormonal breast cancer aged 70 and over. With a low benefit/risk ratio on survival, the impact on quality of life is very heavy.
A large French study has just shown that it did not bring any significant benefit in survival in this age class in addition to hormone therapy.
