Some days, I wonder how democracy can endure. That went double when I saw a recent survey by the Public Religion Research Institute.  It asked people if they agreed that Donald Trump is “a dangerous dictator whose power should be limited before he destroys American democracy.” Fifty-two percent said yes, including 56 percent of swing voters.
