Hoop-a-thon raises $8.5K for high school metal shop - The Northern View

Prince Rupert’s Hoop-a-thon fundraiser brought in about $8,500, with students, community groups and local organizations working together to help buy new equipment for Charles Hays Secondary School’s metal shop. Ten teams took part in the event, trying to make as many baskets as they could while raising money for the project.
