Texas technician to assist as Holyoke works to repair a major water main break
HOLYOKE — Repair work on the major water main break near Westfield Road and Homestead Avenue got underway Tuesday after crews successfully shut down and drained the affected pipe overnight. A specialized technician from Texas was expected to assess the damage and help establish a timeline for the repair, Mayor Joshua A. Garcia said in an update Tuesday afternoon.
