Politicians from Poland 2050 deny that they were to vote on Szymon Hołownia and the club's leadership during Tuesday's meeting. They stated that the meeting was adjourned due to the late hour.
During the meeting of the Poland 2050 club, no decision was made regarding the candidates for the head of the club, Poland 2050 MP Michał Gramatyka told PAP.
First, the media reported that Poland 2050 MPs had once again rejected Szymon Hołownia as club leader. Moments later, party politicians assured the audience that no vote had taken place. Tuesday's meeting was supposed to end months of conflict within the party, but nothing came of it.
Poland 2050 hasn't decided who will lead its club. Michał Gramatyka denied that a vote for Szymon Hołownia would take place on Tuesday.
Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia announced on Tuesday evening that he had not withdrawn from running for chairman of the Poland 2050 parliamentary club. "There was nothing to give up, the club's deliberations are ongoing," he said.
