New York Governor Kathy Hochul will announce the closure of another state prison this week, making difficult adjustments amid a continuing prison manpower crisis. The New York State Correctional Services Department (DOCCS) confirmed to the New York Post on Tuesday that the state will close Bare Hill Correctional Institution in Franklin County and part of Collins Correctional Institution in Erie County.
