- Nearly 400 nominations from 33 states featured students from elementary to high school, including 32% multilingual learners and 28% receiving special education services.
- Matthew Mugo Fields highlighted that the 180 Awards recognize the strong spirit and perseverance of students, as well as the significant influence educators have in their daily efforts.
