On the afternoon of the 4th, two hit-and-run incidents occurred on the main island of Okinawa. At around 4:30 pm, a car struck a 10-year-old elementary school boy (from Yonaha, Haebaru Town) as he was crossing a town road at an intersection, causing him to fall. The boy suffered minor injuries to his right elbow and right thigh.
