Keep at least two seconds' distance: that is the message of the new campaign by the road police to combat tailgating. Drivers who did not keep sufficient distance on the E40 in Aalter on Wednesday were pulled over by the police and escorted to the carpool parking lot. There, they were shown the distance they must maintain at 120 kilometers per hour: at least 67 meters, or the distance covered in two seconds.
