Highway 223 in Arvin to get full pavement rehab with new pedestrian and bicycle safety upgrades

A major rehabilitation project is coming to Highway 223 in Arvin, with construction expected to begin in spring 2027 and wrap up by 2028.The project, called the "Roadway Rehab Project," will involve the full removal and replacement of pavement along Highway 223 from Comanche Drive on the west side of town to King Street on the east side of town.
