HerStory: A long list of celebrations marks America’s 250 years

In March of this year, an obelisk commemorating the Battle of Nassau, fought during the Revolutionary War, was unveiled at the Fisher Family Pier in Pompano Beach. Pictured above are the members of the Florida Sons of Liberty Brigade Color Guard, who marched down Pompano Beach Boulevard to the pier to open the ceremony.
