Helping of Big Sugar sprinkled over Island's upcoming Great Canadian Bash

On June 28, the Great Canadian Bash will take place at Starlight Stadium in Langford as a pre-celebration for Canada Day.
Big Sugar, a popular Canadian band formed in 1988, will perform as part of their 500 Pounds Theatre Tour, playing both new material and earlier hits.
Legendary group Trooper will also perform, alongside local food offerings and other entertainment.
The event aims to unite the community, according to Jon Derry, the managing partner of the hosting Collective Entertainment and Event Group.
