Heavy winds: a high-voltage line falls on the railway, SNCF traffic shut down, thousands of homes without electricity

Southern Dordogne was swept by strong winds this Saturday 27 April in the middle of the afternoon. A rare event, a high-voltage line fell on a railway at the level of the commune of Saint-Chamassy, TER traffic was interrupted between Bordeaux and Périgueux, and Sarlat. Moreover, trees fell damaged the low-voltage network, 6600 homes are still deprived of electricity at the beginning of the evening.
